Siem Reap/Battambang

We woke up nice and early preparing for a relaxing scenic boat cruise down the river to Battambang but when we got downstairs we found out that our requested boat trip was lost in translation and they that had bought us bus tickets instead. We were a little annoyed about it but there was nothing we could do about that. When we got to the bus station we asked two or three people if we were getting onto the right bus and they said yes but when we got onto the bus and asked around again we found out that we were on the bus to Penom Pehn so we had to quickly get off and find our bus. Didn't do too much when we first got to Battambang. We just took a stroll and had our first meal of many at Gecko Cafe and kicked around the ball with some kids.
